What we do

IT Support & Cloud

We help teams run dependable technology foundations with responsive support, sensible security and cloud systems that fit.

IT Support & Cloud — illustrative visual

The service

Built around the outcome, not the buzzword

Reliable IT is less about isolated fixes and more about clear ownership, sensible standards and early warning before small issues become outages. Most disruption we see traces back to nobody owning a system end to end — a laptop nobody patched, a domain renewal nobody tracked, a backup nobody tested. We start by mapping what exists, who's responsible for it, and where the gaps actually sit.

Day-to-day support covers the tickets that actually consume a team's time: account access, device problems, software conflicts, network drops, printer and peripheral setup. We triage by impact rather than order received, so a company-wide outage doesn't wait behind a single password reset. Endpoints are enrolled in management tooling so patching, encryption and configuration stay consistent instead of depending on individual habit.

Cloud and foundational infrastructure work covers migration to Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace, identity and access setup, backup configuration and cost monitoring — the groundwork that keeps a small or mid-size operation stable without requiring an in-house platform team. Where a product needs deep DevOps engineering, such as CI/CD pipelines or container orchestration, that's a distinct, more specialised engagement (see Cloud & DevOps Engineering); here the focus stays on the operational base.

Support runs against agreed response times, with tickets logged, prioritised and reported on so patterns — a recurring failure, a device nearing end of life — surface before they cause a bigger problem. Regular reviews cover open risk, upcoming renewals and any hardware or licensing decisions worth planning ahead of time, rather than reacting to them after the fact.

Capabilities

What we can build together

Managed IT support
Cloud migration and integration
Networks and endpoint management
Backup and disaster recovery
Security hardening and monitoring
DevOps and deployment automation

Designed for outcomes

  • 01Support tickets resolved by a team that already knows your environment, cutting the time lost to re-explaining context on every call
  • 02Backups and recovery procedures tested well before they're needed, rather than discovered to be broken during an actual outage
  • 03One accountable point of contact for day-to-day technology instead of unclear ownership scattered across tools and vendors

What you receive

Tangible delivery, clearly documented

  • A documented infrastructure and support baseline covering devices, accounts, network and vendor relationships
  • Cloud workspace, identity and network configuration set up to a consistent, auditable standard
  • Working backup, monitoring and disaster-recovery procedures, tested rather than assumed
  • Runbooks, ticket reporting and defined support coverage with agreed response times

Technology

Tools chosen for the job

We stay technology-flexible and select the stack around your existing environment, security constraints, team capability and long-term cost.

Frequently asked

Questions about IT & Cloud

What response times can we expect?

Response targets are agreed upfront and tiered by severity — a full outage gets a faster response than a single-user request. Typical arrangements run from under an hour for critical issues to same-business-day for routine tickets, covered during agreed hours with an escalation path defined for anything outside them.

Do you replace an internal IT person, or work alongside one?

Both happen. Some clients have no internal IT and we run the function entirely; others keep one internal person for on-site needs while we cover ticket volume, cloud administration and after-hours coverage. We scope the split explicitly so there's no ambiguity about who owns what.

Is this the right service for setting up CI/CD pipelines or Kubernetes?

No — that falls under our separate Cloud & DevOps Engineering service, which is a more specialised, project-based engagement. This service covers the operational foundation: devices, accounts, networks, backup and day-to-day cloud administration. If your need turns out to be platform engineering, we'll say so and scope it separately.

How do you handle backup and disaster recovery?

We configure automated backups for the systems that matter — email, files, key application data — with retention periods matched to how the business actually uses that data. Recovery isn't just configured; it's tested on a schedule, because a backup nobody has restored from is a plan, not a guarantee.

How is this priced — per device, per user, or a flat retainer?

Most engagements run as a monthly retainer scoped to device and user count, with cloud and project work such as a migration or network redesign quoted separately. That keeps ongoing support predictable while one-off infrastructure changes are costed on their own scope rather than absorbed into a flat fee.

How we work

A clear path from idea to impact

  1. STEP 1

    Assess systems and risk

  2. STEP 2

    Prioritise stabilisation work

  3. STEP 3

    Implement support and controls

  4. STEP 4

    Monitor, report and improve
